As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting errors in various written materials, ensuring clarity and consistency in messaging. You will work closely with writers and content creators to refine their work and uphold the editorial standards of our organization. Additionally, you will fact-check information, verify sources, and ensure that content aligns with our style guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a strong command of the English language.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
Proven experience as a Copy Editor or similar role
Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and writing conventions
Familiarity with style guides such as AP or Chicago Manual of Style
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
