The Marketing Program Manager leads the development and execution of creative marketing campaigns for the Notre Dame Alumni Association. This position serves a vital role to identify the primary audience, strategic objectives, and success metrics for a multitude of marketing projects, and ensures those projects are completed to maximum efficiency and creativity. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their skills in a variety of ways, including client management, integrated marketing, content marketing, and project management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
OPTIMIZE MARKETING CONTENT
Develop and execute a comprehensive content distribution and optimization strategy for the Alumni Association, ensuring effective and engaging outreach to alumni, parents, students, and friends.
Utilize cutting-edge marketing tools and tactics, including keyword trends, SEO, influencer marketing, and social listening tools, to create detailed content distribution plans.
Track and analyze trends to inform outreach initiatives.
Collaborate with Directors to guide strategic decisions and achieve key objectives.
Create comprehensive marketing plans to enhance awareness and engagement for Alumni programs, clubs, classes, and groups within the Notre Dame Alumni Association.
Design immersive, multisensory marketing experiences through on-campus events, global community programs, and virtual platforms.
Lead the implementation of these marketing experiences and campaigns in partnership with the marketing communications team and Alumni staff.
Manage relationships with internal and external partners to ensure successful outcomes.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Execute marketing projects on time and within budget.
Set deadlines and project milestones with internal and external partners.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of existing processes to enhance efficiency and engagement within the organization.
GENERAL MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS DUTIES
Assist with content development efforts - proactively collecting and curating compelling stories, initiatives, and new opportunities for engagement with alumni, parents, and friends.
Contribute to signature all-staff Alumni Association initiatives and events, such as Reunion and Football Fridays.
This role is located on the beautiful campus of Notre Dame, with the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week. It offers an opportunity to leverage your skills across various areas, as well as play a key role in growing creative marketing campaigns. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 3-5 years of marketing experience
Creative mindset to adapt, learn, and deploy different tools to reach different audiences
Strong interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and work effectively with alumni, staff, students, faculty, and University administrators
Interest and ability to work closely with designers, writers, social media managers, event managers, and other colleagues to manage the execution of high quality, meaningful content for intended audiences
Excellent organizational, time-management, analytical, and prioritization skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
General curiosity to research and understand target audiences
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in event marketing and/or content marketing strategies, such as influencer marketing, paid advertising, or SEO
Experience in content development, such as short-form video, professional writing/editing, and/or digital outreach
Desire to learn, or previous experience with project management tools such as Wrike, Trello, Monday, etc.
