Position overview: Park City Day School, a small, independent PS-Grade 8 school located in Park City, UT, seeks an experienced, creative, and energetic professional to join our team as Admissions and Marketing Director.
School Description: Park City Day School is located approximately 30 minutes from Salt Lake City and primarily enrolls children from the greater Park City region and the Heber Valley. The school is accredited by the Northwest Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement an annual enrollment management plan;
Schedule and oversee the admissions process;
Manage online application system comprising of systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with candidates;
Manage and track the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year;
Oversee the PREP Committee to assist in the admissions program and retention efforts;
Coordinate and oversee any and all admissions and re-enrollment events;
Communicate new student welcome and provide “getting started with PCDS” materials to include general instructions on how to use MyPCDS, PREP Ambassador’s contact information, information on PCDS Family Handbook, final school records requests and school dress code information;
Prepare monthly admissions reports for Head of School and Board of Trustees to include Enrollment Tracking (re-enrollment and new student tracking) and Admissions Funnel Reports.
Ensure brand and messaging quality and consistency and establish guidelines to apply across all departments;
Design strategies and implement concrete plans to increase student applications and maintain prospective student and family interest;
Plan and manage the department budget in order to maximize the effectiveness of all communications;
Manage all aspects of the school’s external print and electronic communications, ensuring the continuity of the school’s brand and logo. Oversee the work of graphic designers and print vendors in the production of printed materials and web visuals;
Engage actively in professional development in order to remain current in best practices related to independent school communications, emerging social media, and effective marketing and advertising strategies;

A minimum of a college bachelor’s degree is required; master’s degree preferred;
Experience in marketing, communications, admissions, or a related field preferred;
Effective written and oral communicator;
Experience utilizing data to inform strategic planning and decision-making;

Proven experience independently overseeing complex projects and programs, working independently, and as a team member;
Outstanding oral and written communication skills;
